: Library :

    The library is a well managed and systematically organized model of information storage. The efforts are being made to convert this library into the information centre, so that the maximum number of students, research scholars and academic community would be able to take the advantage of the rich collection of books, back volumes of periodicals, CD Rom databases, online databases and journals etc. Besides college authorities are also taking keen interest in the development of the library by providing adequate funds, infrastructure and other academic facilities.

Preservation: Books are preserved by binding, repairing and spraying pesticides, Fumigation.

Library Rules:

  1. The Library will be open on working days only.
  2. The books will be issued and received one hour after the opening of the library and one hour before the closing time of the library.

Admission:

1.       The students have to show the identity card to avail themselves of the library and reading hall facility.

2.       On producing the identity card, the UG and PG students are given two books for one week.

3.       Except the following reading material, all reading material will be given to read at home.

  1. The books of syllabus, the rare books of special importance and reserved books

  2. Reference book, dictionaries, encyclopedia, yearbooks.

  3. News papers, magazines.

4.       The student can keep the books with them for a week. If there is no demand for the book then the last date of submission may be extended for one more week. However, there will be no more extension for thereafter.

5.       Late submission will be fined as per the library norms. The books will be issued at for the payment of the fine

6.       If book is lost, an amount equal to twice of the price of book will be charged.

7.       No-dues certificate will be given only after submitting the books

Discipline:

  1. The chewing of tobacco, gutkha etc. in the library is strictly prohibited, such students will not be allowed to enter the library,

  2. Smoking, spitting in the library and the library campus, speaking in the library and the behavior causing disturbance to the colleges is strictly prohibited.

  3. The concerned authorities have the power to deny the entry in the library to the readers who disobey library rules,

Cautions to be taken:

  1. The student should confirm the good condition of the books before they borrow them. If some pages are found missing while returning the book, the student will be considered responsible for the lost pages. He will have to compensate for it by giving a new copy of the book.

  2. All the books of the optional subjects are issued for a year. These books should be returned before the university examination (Subject to availability).

  3. The researchers who are working under the guidance of research guides in our research center will be given books on the recommendation of the guide and with the permission of the principal.

  4. We charge Rs.1000/- as fee for research student
