The Department of Zoology is one of the premier departments of the college. The department is established in June 1962. Shri P. Umapatirao was the first head of the Zoolgy department. Shri Verdhaman took over the Charge of the department. Out first batch of B.Sc. of zoology was passed out in 1970 Dr. N.V.Kulkarni has specialized in fishery Science and Dr. P.K.Pole has worked on Aerobiology.
