Microbiology as one of optional subjects has been introduced in 1986 in our college due to scientific attitude of the former principal late Dr. N. Y. Dole. Up to June 1997 this Department was headed by Dr. A. S. Dhaware, Head, department of Botany. The Microbiology laboratory is spacious and well established with many laboratory facilities. Our laboratory is arranged with maximum essential facilities for Microbiological work. Twenty four students can perform their practical at a time.
Our department provides all essential technical guidance, books and moral support to the students, so that they can strengthen their academic career and get interested in subject. Aim of our department is to make the student perfect in subject so that they can help the mankind through the Microbiological work. Our college administration and management is always ready to adopt new policies by which students get the benefits of education.

In March 1992 Examination Miss Daivshala Chandrakant Kamthane secured first rank in the subject Microbiology, in Marathwada University, Aurangabad.
